From the moment we have been able to talk, we have taken value in storytelling. When tools were created to make paintings the cavemen told stories through those. When we developed the ability to write we then chose to create stories in books. Technology has advanced even since then and we have now taken to filming and recording stories to broadcast to people over and over again without the need to memorise.
