Entourage first premiered on HBO in America on the 18th of July in 2004. The show is the brainchild of Doug Ellin while being co-produced by Stephen Levinson and Mark Wahlberg a. The series follows the antics of Vincent Chase who, along with his childhood friends, is trying to acclimate to the somewhat alien Hollywood lifestyle.

The show has remained one of HBO’s most popular shows for five years. The plot of Entourage is loosely based on Mark Wahlberg’s own experiences in Hollywood. Wahlberg also produces the show, and is listed as a creator. The series focuses on four primary characters. All of these characters come from Queens, NY, and have relocated to Los Angeles to stay with their friend Vince, and as a result, live a very comfortable life. Because Vince is handsome and wealthy from his movie career, he’s able to take care of all of his old friends from home.

Entourage is a very popular TV series. Currently, HBO has renewed Entourage for a seventh season, after recently wrapping up a successful sixth season. Season seven is now airing on TV.

The premise of Entourage came about because Mark Wahlberg wanted to talk about the stories of his friend and himself, so he chose a vehicle that would be interesting for television viewers.

Every episode shows Vince and his friends enjoying parties all around the Los Angeles area. The dialogue and plot of the show is regarded as very smart, and various catchphrases which are used in the show have become popular among college students. One other thing that draws people to this show is the many appearance of famous Hollywood actors appearing in cameo roles. While the show depicts a great deal of realism, it’s still a fictional story, though actual stars appear frequently, playing themselves in a humorous manner.
