When Considering the Samsung UE55B7000 LCD TV be prepared to confront one of the thinnest and most elegant looking TVs in the particular market segment that Samsung has placed this liquid crystal display (LCD) television. It is superior in its backlighting, mainly due to the fact that Samsung has employed light emitting diodes (LEDs) in order to make it not only thin but also extremely sharp.
As evidenced by the number of the model in the Samsung lineup, this particular liquid crystal display television comes in at a whopping 55 inches. Additionally, it presents its picture in 1920×1080 resolution, with a color enhancer that is driven by a high-quality LED engine. Supporting it is 100 Hz of Samsung Motion Plus video capability. The thing that helps LED TVs stand out in one of a number of ways is that they tend to be not only extremely thin but also extremely energy efficient. Certainly more so than a standard LCD TV. Those light emitting diodes which have been placed along the edge of the screen means that the TV casing will be very, very thin. No fluorescent tubes, in other words, means the very skinny television.

Any expert who has examined the TV has come back and remarked that it is this suite of networking features that sets it apart from others. It can be connected to any PC via an Ethernet cable or through an optional wireless adapter suitable for home networks.
This wireless functionality is gained through use of one of several USB ports that have been built into the television. The computer will, of course, have to have DLNA software loaded, but Samsung has included a software suite that will help to make this possible. As if that wasn’t enough, this TV can play any number of video, photo or other multimedia files through a USB port.
The picture screen panel is of a type that started appearing in 2006 on many a laptop computer monitor. It is extremely clear and helps to make any picture presented on it very vivid. Samsung refers to its own panel as an “ultra-clear panel.” The range of color and richness that will be seen through such a high quality panel is almost without compare in this market segment.
Surround sound is delivered via use of a unit that includes not only Dolby Digital Plus but also a fine RMS HD function that Samsung refers to as “Trusurround.” There is also a nice woofer that is powered by 15 watts of onboard capability. When you include all the other features such as a smart content manager among others, there is practically nothing that this television can’t do.
Spending A Few Minutes with the Samsung UE55B7000 LCD TV reveals a TV that is extremely comfortable and it’s very, very thin skin. It is the picture of elegance and high technology, making use as it does of light emitting diodes to produce a superior picture with absolutely no blurring.
