In the past you had to go to a store if you wanted to rent or buy a movie. Instead of buying or renting the dvd, people now can choose a movie download instead. Just about any movie every made can be attained through a movie download site now. Check out these samples.

Dementia Thirteen: Gory terror film set before the operation that changed her life. This is one of the more unique yet strange romantic comedies of our time. The film is kept on target by the quality acting of Mackintosh, who pulls off a difficult role. Cast includes William Campbell, Luana Anders, Bart Patton, Mary Mitchel, and Patrick Magee. In Enemy Country: So-so WW2 story, set in France and England, filmed on a back-lot. Not extremely persuading. Cast includes Tony Franciosa, Anjanette Comer, Man Stockwell, Paul Hubschmid, Tom Bell, and Emile Genest. (107 minutes, 1968)

Above Suspicion: WWII is just starting. American newlyweds honeymooning in Europe are enlisted by the US government to carry out an espionage mission against the Nazis. Can the honeymooners succeed? Richard Thorpe. Joan Crawford, Fred MacMurray, Conrad Veidt, Basil Rathbone and others. (1943 Espionage)

The Kingdom: This four hour film is essentially 4 Danish Television shows strung together, set and shot at the genuine Nationwide State Health center in Copenhagen. It is known as “The Empire”. As essentially every critic has pointed out, this is ER meets Twin Peaks, with crackpot physicians, supernatural goings-on, sex, black humor, etc. A must for those who imagine they’ve seen everything. Cast includes Ernst Hugo Jaregard, Kirsten Rolffes, Ghita Norby, Soren Pilmark, Jens Okking, Otto Brandenburg, Baard Owe, and Solbjorg Hojfeldt. (271 minutes, 1994)

Commando: Here’s an extremely loud comic magazine flick in reference to a retired special ops man (Schwarzenegger), who’s made to go back in time when vengeful goons abduct his child. Cast includes Arnold Schwarzenegger, Rae Daybreak Chong, Dan Hedaya, Vernon Wells, David Patrick Kelly, and Alyssa Milano. (88 minutes, 1985)

Gus: The football kicking mule leads a last-place team to success; crooks try to abduct Gus with typical outcomes like a weak chase scene in this anticipation thriller. Cast includes Edward Asner, Don Tangles, Gary Dirties, Tim Conway, Freedom Williams, Dick Minivan Patten, and Dick Butkus. (96 minutes, 1976)

House on Haunted Hill: Zillionaire Cost offers group of individuals $100,000 each if they’ll survive a night in spooky old mansion with a haunted history. Cast includes Vincent Cost, Carol Ohmart, Richard Long, Alan Marshal, Elisha Chef, Carolyn Craig, and Leona Anderson. (75 minutes, 1958)

The Incredible Gentleman: A well known and beloved Television megastar dies and Ferrer disposes his commemoratory show, only to find the megastar was a disgraceful fake. Al Morgan adjusted Morgan’s thinly veiled novel in regards to Arthur Godfrey. Cast includes Jose Ferrer, Dean Jagger, Keenan Wynn, Julie London, Jim Backus, and Ed Wynn. (92 minutes, 1956)

Holiday Affair: Well-finished Christmas time tale of war widow Leigh, with a small child, who’s helped by good guy Corey. Cast includes Robert Mitchum, Janet Leigh, Wendell Corey, Gordon Gebert, Griff Barnett, Esther Dale, Henry O’Neill, and Henry Harry Morgan. (87 minutes, 1949)
