Buffalo Bill: Vibrant biography of legendary Westerner should have been much more superior, however still grants some fun and has excellent cast. Red Sorghum: Evocative, beautifully filmed amalgamation drama, black comedy, kid story, fable which journals a most untraditional union between a set of rural lovers throughout the 1920s. Dingo: An unexpected appearance by jazz trumpeter Billy Cross (Davis) in a boy’s rural town empowers him to become a musician himself. Now grown up, he still fantasies of playing for a living and honoring his lifelong hero. This friendly but dull paced tale is kindled by Miles Davis’ dynamic presence and ingratiating behavior. Cast includes Colin Friels, Miles Davis, Helen Buday, Joe Petruzzi, Bernadette Lafont, and Bernard Fresson. (108 minutes, 1991)

The Red Badge of Courage: Yankee cadet Murphy escapes under fire and is guilt afflicted over his obvious absence of guts. Stephen Crane’s Civil Battle novel acquires both fable and personal therapy by director Huston. High quality battle scenes and some genuinely terrifying Insurgent cavalry charges highlight this research of the fine line between cowardice and courage. Lost Command: Tgus film is a tight, well-made tale of French-Algerian guerrilla warfare in North Africa, with Quinn as the peasant who has risen to a position of request. Fine global cast, excellent direction, and some top notch action roles mix extremely well. Cast includes Anthony Quinn, Alain Delon, George Segal, Michele Morgan, Maurice Ronet, Claudia Cardinale, Gregoire Asian, and Jean Servais. (130 minutes, 1984)

Delta Force Two: Norris leads his Delta Force brigade into Latin America in an attempt to snuff out an elusive drug lord. Cast includes Chuck Norris, John P. Ryan, Paul Perri, Richard Jaeckel, Begonia Plaza, Mateo Gomez, Hector Mercardo, and Billy Drago. (110 minutes, 1990)
